Morn'n everybody....up and at 'em...

..snowed last night...even covered the ground, tho not much....

..coffee's wonderful, slept pretty good....let's see what the day brings ?

...cold out the temps in the mid 20's...won't warm up much, but will rise to the low 60's by the Sunday swap...

..now for more of this great coffee...

Morning Jon.  Cooler here this morning too.  A few errands to run and an appointment later.  With a bit of luck I'll get motivated after and set-up some more fish for spawning...

...is excellent. It is very cool and very windy here this morning although the sun is shining brightly. It's going to be a challenging day here for sure.

Good Morning.

Walked in the room this morning and one of the big male angels in a tank by the window completely freaked out and kept slamming off the walls, causing the others to stampede. I held still, but after a little time I realized it was me standing there in the sunshine that seemed to be causing it. I walked away and it stopped. The slate was knocked over, there are broken leaves. He came to rest with his nose in the back corner behind a filter, and after being frozen there for 10 minutes he came out. So far he seems ok.

The only other time I have seen this was once when my son walked in the room wearing a bright red shirt. I'm wearing black.

..I wear an old 'Cubs' hat....when the fish spook while a visitor is looking at them.....I give em a ball cap.....they calm down immediately.....go figure .....

...didn't exist for me today...so I called the doc's office and they said decaf is okay...so this is afternoon coffee for me...

...took some plants to the PO to mail to a fella up in Peoria...starting to develop more local aquarist contacts...

...not to motivated today, but am thinking about building a new shed for aquariums...too much effort involved for the moment though... For now, I think I'll just put in a couple shelves above my computer desk nook for Bettas or killies...

...at 2:30 the 6 of us that are going to head up the Spring Fling are getting together to settle on a theme for next year's event, and maybe discuss people we can hit up to chair certain individual events....there may be some frozen mudslides involved...!
