Is there a way you could put him in with the cows?  That would do the trick  But normal cattle fence is not made to contain dogs.

The cows are on way too much land for that to work. I think he just needs to know that the cows are part of us.

Hey, That gives me a though. We can move the cows into a stall with a smaller field right here. That just might do it.
