Discus making runs on food

I've heard of this but this is the first time I've seen it with my own eyes.  My confirmed male show fish is making runs on the turkey breast mix I put in the tank earlier today.  His breeding tube is down.  Poor fish must be hard up.  I wish that one of my lady fish would take an interest in him.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Sad isn't it?  I remember that Eddie told us several years ago that he had males doing the same thing on the cubes of frozen food mix he fed that sank to the bottom.  My discus all eat their frozen cubes of food so fast I don't think any of them could have an instant of such behavior, the food is gone too fast.  Hope your confused fish finds a willing girlfriend!
