I had some frozen taquitos rather than cooking.  I doctored them up best I could.  They were not good but they will keep me alive.  Taquitos must be made fresh then deep fried.

....a place just down the street from my old jr h.s. had them 2/$0.25.... |^|...I'd stop and grab some, with a grape slushy, for the walk home up Angeles Crest Hwy...got have good guacamole dip with em... |^|
