I hated doing it but I did.  Doing it stressed me out.  The wife called today for an appointment and told her that I had decided to no longer groom their two Schnauzers.  I'd been thinking about if for a long time.  I've groomed their dogs since they were puppies.

Several months ago the husband came in irate 2 days after I'd groomed his dog.  He bitched me out!  THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ME, EVER!!!!  I can nail a Schnauzer.  When the dog left my shop I thought that I'd never made that dog so sharp.   I was proud of my groom.  He had the nerve enter my shop and bitch me out 2 days later????  He was really pissed off huh

I was so taken aback!  I calmed him down rather than get into a fight.   I needed time to think about it for a long time before I knew what I had to do.  I have groomed their dogs several times since then.  Used to be that the wife would make the appointment and the husband would bring the dogs.  I haven't seen the husband since our incident.  What's up with that?  I he a sissy man huh

I know it's nothing, but firing them was very hard for me.  I like being a nice guy at work and I had to be the polite bitch from hell.  When the wife got her wits together and asked me why, I said the truth.  I said that I no longer took the pleasure in grooming their dogs that I once did.  She said, "Thank you for your honest reply."  I know damn well that she can read between the lines.

Forgive me for the long rant.  I can't help it.  I have to put it into words and send it somewhere before I will be able to sleep.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Do what you have to do, Liz. And don't look back.
