I think you need to look deeper for the answer. They don't want you to know how much of the food chain is GMO. Then you need to ask why. Why would pretty much a single company want patents on most of the food supply?

That part is pretty easy to figure out like Bill says.

GMO's are safe, yet they are banned in many countries until further study is completed.  I remember back in the day when they told us how safe other products were too.....
