I hate when my brain shuts out things I should have thought through.

I have four discus and planned on getting two more when Mike Beal got his February shipment in. His current group had sold out of the extras that I'd have liked.

Now it's set up a QT tank....yada, yada, yada.

It's not necessary in this case.  Mike deals only with the one supplier.

And how many sources does Mike's supplier have??....can't hurt to 'QT' them, they could be from different areas of capture, or origin??

I'm sure that Mikes supplier has an agreement with several other farms but mike keeps the fish for at least 2 weeks before he ships them out.  If the fish were going to break down, they'd break down at Mike's.  I know that QT is the safest thing to do but when I was dealing with a single importer I never found it to be necessary.
