If you have heard as I did that you can put them in the dish washer, don't believe it!  Mine were due for a weekly cleaning and I had room in the dish washer so stuck them in.  They came out all warped.  One ones unusable and the other one leaks.  My poor hummers are buzzzing around looking for their normal feeding stations and have nothing.   I figured I'd pick some up at the feed store tomorrow when I work but I may make a trip into town today.  I need to go to the hardware store anyway to get more timers.  The power outage we had several days ago took out 3 timers, and I have this fleurescent light that is for some reason more sensitive to humidity that the others and trips the breaker my central air pump is on.  And I can always stop at the beer store :P

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your tribe.  (Sweatpants & Coffee)

Cool, but too late.  I drove to town and went to the hardware store first.  They didn't have any hummer feeders but I bought an fluorescent fixture and their last heavy duty timer.  they'll have more in on Wed.  Turns out that a lady who works there suggested me to her daughter for dog grooming.  I did the dog last week and she told me that her daughter was delighted with my what I my work.  She and I chatted for a good while.

Then I went to the feed store and picked up 2 hummer feeders.  Then I stopped by Chip's auto repair place to chat a bit.  I was hoping that he wouldn't be up to his ears in mechanical work and we could share a beer but he was up to his ears.  We had a nice little chat, though.

Then I stopped at the beer place where the owner's wife and I had a nice little chat.  I was wearing the T shirt they gave me.  She said that my dead old lady's son was in Saturday to buy his dip.  He said that he has all this beer left over because he bought it for his mother and then she died.  Made me feel sad.  I knew, but he expected that she would live forever.

Always move forward. Never look back.
