I spent money like one today.  I had so much fun even though it was at Walmart.  I got all this stuff that I haven't allowed myself for years because they are not necessities.  4 throw pillows to replace the ones my Rat Terrier has chewed holes in and pulled stuffing out of, replaced my crappy toaster, bought my first ever food processor, got speakers for the computer (new computers no longer come with speakers), one of those crap end tables made out of particle board you have to put together yourself to put my printer on, the cable to plug the printer into the computer (turns out they don't come with one) and the one necessity, Rotella T for The Beast.

I wanted an eye exam but had to settle for an appointment for Wed afternoon.  I forgot to buy a cheap home phone which is required if I'm to get DSL.  I bet I can find one at the dollar store.  On my way home I stopped at Papa Johns and got a large works with anchovies which will feed me for 3 days.

Fun day!

Will you love me more if I tell you that I will add more from the tin in my pantry?  I love the salty little buggers.  They add depth of flavor.

I have speakers. Someplace. Never even loaded the drivers for my sound card.

Of course. Just the fact you have them in the pantry. I like them right from the tin.

I've eaten them from the tin myself.  I always felt guilty about that.  Don't know why except I've always considered them a flavor enhancer rather than a stand alone thing.
