Played in the Negro Leagues, Army veteran, first black player on the
Cubs and wow, what a player he was.  You don't have to be a Cubs fan
to mourn the loss of this man.  I hope he and Ron Santo are taking
batting practice and Harry Caray is saying, "You know Banks spelled
backwards is...."
