...on Aquarium bulbs.....cheap too....I got 18" for $4...24" and 36" for $5 each.....should hold me over during the LED transition period, I hope... ;D

Wow those were great prices! I wonder if all the Petco's are having a clearance on this type of bulb?  Maybe they too are transitioning to LED's?

Standard fluorescents are a thing of the past unless you are talking typical single lamps that come with traditional hoods (and even that is changing)  people needing specialty lighting (super daylights, 10000K etc)  switched to compact fluorescents years ago then to t5s and now LEDs.  A large stock of bulbs like this would sit around stores for 10 years or more.  It doesn't make sense for them to keep them in stock.  Great deal if you need them.
