I received word that Tin Win, the director of the Hein Aquarium in Myanmar has passed away.  He was responsible for many of the Danios we now now have in the hobby.  He is credited with the common name of Glowlight Danio for Danio choprae and was directly responsible for the discovery and introduction into the hobby of Danio sp. TW01, Danio sp. TW02 (Danio tinwini), and Danio sp. TW03 (Danio aesculapii).

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Yes, the hobby will miss folks of his stature. I looked and saw where his son is following in his foot steps somewhat.....

?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ?Wow! What a Ride!? ~ Hunter S. Thompson

A sad thing to hear about.

Hopefully his establishment will live and and continue to make such nice contributions.
