For any of you who are interested in Hi guality Discus this is a good deal. http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?114813-NADA-Show-Fish-from-Hans-for-Sale-Stillwater-MN-Pick-Up-and-Shipping-available

Check out post number 8.  I had my doubts about this at first as you can see in post number 2.   I questioned the guy's motives.  A guy I trust told me the story via PM.  Everyone does well and nobody is hurt.

These fish are good.  I saw them.  I was hoping to buy one, but I was looking for a female variation of his Silver Pigeon.  It had to be mostly white with spots AND female.  The fish I wanted was not at the show.  I considered that lovely horizontally striped White Pigeon but ruled it out.  Now that I look again I'm thinking that I made a mistake.  I should have bought her.

I bought her. I passed her up at NADA because I was stupidly single minded and didn't see that the is a young fish and her striations yearn to separate into spots.  She will be shipped the 7th and in my tank on the 8th.  I can't wait.  I already have an excellent quality husband for her.

Nice, good luck with her and her future husband. ;D

That's a pretty girl Liz.

The sensible part of myself could kick the part of me that made me buy this fish.  The Mr. Spock in my head told me that I have a good thing going with my Angels with more fun to come.  But my heart always wins.  I wish that my stupid heart would at least take into consideration what my brain thinks.

I know what will happen if the pairing succeeds.  The Discus will take all my focus.  My brain thinks there is a chance that the pairing won't work.  My brain is right.  My heart doesn't care what my brain thinks.  It just does what it pleases.

I can't wait until I get the new fish and put her in my Discus tank.  I have one fertile male in that tank.  He is near perfect for her and she is near perfect for him.  They are both good fish.  The male is Asian and the female is German.  I've crossed Asian to German before with non PB's and I got the best of both worlds.

I can't wait to post pics of each of them and let everyone know how they are doing.
