sorry for the blurry pic. I need to clean the glass. for some reason I can't tell how bad the glass is until I want to take a picture.
I did get the leaf fish to eat some guppies. unfortunately I only have the Japaneses blue guppies and I don't want to give up too many of them. I can't seem to get him to eat frozen food or pellets. I think he likes the new setup with the caves. He stays in the cave until a fish he can eat comes with in striking distance. I also found out that the Killifish is a predator with a big mouth.  I was also trying to get them to eat snails with no luck. the killifish tried to eat one. Got it in his mouth then spit it out.

Too bad you can't find some live adult brine shrimp....try a LFS to see how big their feeders are...some have smaller guppies in the mix...

I got the leaf fish to eat something other than guppies. It was Captain Bob's sinking 40. I knew he made the best fish food.
I might try and find him some ghost shrimp this weekend. It's too bad I can't get live adult brine shrimp.  I could order some but shipping is so expensive.  It's not worth it for a fish that I shouldn't have for long.

You know your going to the pet shop too much when the fish manager ask you for advice on fish.  :o
I was looking for some shrimp. Couldn't find any but petco had some small minnows.  I have talked to the fish guy there a few times and he asked me about getting some discus. He wasn't looking for anything special. And wanted something cheap. He was thinking of getting some small 1/2 to 3/4 from someone on the gcca site. He changed his mind when I told him what kind of care they will need. I just found it funny that a "fish specialist" was asking me about fish. Isn't it his job to know these things.
The leaf fish loved his treat. But I think I'm going to start feeding him more sinking 40s and try and get him off live foods. I don't mind that he's eatting them. It's just that it's still not my fish and I don't want spend time and money feeding it.
