It was an unexpectedly lovely Christmas day.  I a traditional simple family holiday meal.  Just close family except for me.  They make me feel like family, though.

I did a lot in the past couple of days and it's taking a toll on my back today.  I'm taking it easy although I've rolled out to the chicken house to watch the babies.  They're all having a party.  Thanksgiving can even fly up on the roost.  It's way to high for the others.  I started using the automatic door today.  3 came out had fun and then got lost before they found their way back in again.  They must have spread the word to the others that their coop is a big scary place.  But now that a few have learned they'll want to try it again and they'll teach the rest.
