I actually used this recipe.  If course it was more time consuming but it was worth it.  The sauce is dark rather than bright green because the charged skins of the Poblano peppers are incorporated into it.  It didn't look the same as what I was served at the small Mexican town where I lived, but it sure did taste like it,

I see you used poblano peppers......much more flavor than the called for serranos..... :)

This recipe calls for both.  The Poblanos for flavor and the serranos for the fire.  I didn't remove any of the seeds so it was HOT  just like in Mexico.
