I draw the line at teeth. I have all my front teeth since I got them crowns.

Knocked them out on a steering wheel in Germany and didn't open my mouth until they were fixed.

A roller would not work for the primer, right?  This wafer board is over 20 years old.  I've pealed off the sticking-out wafers but the surface is still very rough.  I need to keep using the brush, right?
The roller would work alright, but you probably would want to have a brush to dab into the wafers that stick out and the roller can't get behind....if you paint over a period of several days, when you finish for the day, wrap the roller (or brush) in a plastic grocery bag and you won't have to clean every time you finish for the day....I hate cleaning up the brushes and rollers when I'm using oil based paint....I worked my way through college working on a paint crew in the summers and even a couple summers during my first years of teaching...
