I was wondering since my tanks were down for 2 weeks if I should replace all the substrate. I lost fish in every tank. I know I will have to replace the media in the tanks I set up here. I am going to pick up all my cory this week end. My buddy said he would give me media from his tanks. I dont wont to let my cory get away from me I have a lot of time in them.

You can flush the gravel well, and use it, or mix it with new, it should be fine...if in doubt, flush it well with chlorinated water, then add a bottle of peroxide...rinse and use,etc...
