This 100 gallon tank...

...contains 25 worthless adult Dots and 9 Angelfish that for some reason or other stuck my fancy.  I have a worthless pair in there too, but they are the last of my half black pairs and I have an emotional attachment to them   3 of the Anges are PS Blue Ghost's, 2 are Blue Marbles which may carry the PS gene..  The Blue Marbles turned out to form a pair.  They're spawning on the lift tube.  They are fighting off the hungry Dots.  The other Angels in the tank are on the farthest side away from them and are fine with that.

I never look at the fish in this tank.  I don't know why.  Do all the maintenance on it as I do on the others.  When I saw this pair spawning and protecting their eggs from the hungry multitudes I took a close look at them.  Lo and behold, except for the worthless Dots and worthless HB pair they are all really nice fish. 

I'm afraid that all my PS Blue Ghosts are male.  I don't have a clue what strain to breed them to and what I might expect.  It's my own damn fault.  If I had learned Greek I would know

I don't know any greek either. I paid no attention at all to Mendel's peas in high school biology, so I would be at square zero.

Hell, I was all about Greek in high school biology. I was all over it.  But your right, they just covered the basics.  I wish I had delved into it deeper on my own but I didn't.

Yes, if you can get a Blue Ghost female you can get some paraiba.  They are some nice looking fish.

About anything blue would work....with a stripeless better

HA!  I found a blue ghost that looked female in another tank.  I moved her to the other tank and lo and behold I have a pair of PS blue ghosts guarding eggs!  I'll  move them to my last open breeding tank after WC today.
