As people look more closely at different species, they will find cases were there are really more than one species.

Examples among fish I am familiar with include:

Danio dangilia like fish: now four or more different species
pearl danio (or Brachydanio albolineata): probably many similar species. One now know as a separate species is the rosy danio (Brachydanio rosea).
Danio (or Celestichthys) choprae: a very similar species has been found: Danio (or Celestichthys) flagrans
