Sunday Morn'n coffee==>

..is absolutely delicious.....We both slept like logs last night...it'll be a slow morn'n for sure...we might even just run up to the local diner and grab breakfast??.....a big plate of biscuits and gravy would hit the spot... ..but for now..............more coffee

Rough start to the day here. After getting hit with 7 inches of snow yesterday the precip turned to freezing rain causing that snow to be encased in ice.

Temps in the 40s later today but that won't help too much with the snow/ice before it refreezes. I guess this will be a 2 pot day for me.

At least I have plenty of food in the house. Hell I even have a bottle of wine if I decide I need some help staying indoors. Also I don't have to snow blow or shovel. Feel sorry for those that do.

..Things have finally settled down around here, after five+ weeks of chaos.....I believe we may retire to our comfort zone down stairs, and tinker with the tanks/fish a bit.......doors locked, and phones off.....

A pot roast in the oven sounds good too.......Aaaahhhhh.....and fresh coffee too, of course...

It's snowing here this morning.....supposed to get up to three more inches.

Willie my son canceled travel plans yesterday after needing several attempts to get up the  driveway to his apartment. Like you he had help staying indoors. He got out his pricey bottle of fine scotch whiskey and was listening to ZZ Topp when he texted me last night.

Willie my son canceled travel plans yesterday after needing several attempts to get up the  driveway to his apartment. Like you he had help staying indoors. He got out his pricey bottle of fine scotch whiskey and was listening to ZZ Topp when he texted me last night.

+1.....one thing about snow, it's nice to look at if you don't need to be in it... ......but myself, I do enjoy snow blowing....really....Man and machine against the elements.....charge!!!!!!!!!!!

Woman too....I used to drive a lawn tractor with a snowblower attachment when we lived at our other place. We had horses and a loooong driveway and were on a dead end road.  The driveway had a turn in it too. Lots of plowing to do from house to barn and down to the road. I loved it. That made Doug happy cuz he hated it.

Our winter is pretty much over. Friday morning 27 freakin degrees. Maters are done. And there were some nice ones about ready in a day or two. Today it's still cold. Must've only reached what? 80?
