We'll probably just mold out at home and watch a couple flicks...some years past we'd go out for an early dinner and a movie with a couple friends..then go back and play cards, chat, munch til midnight...New Years eve is amateur night for novice drinkers...roads can be really unfriendly, ya know.....heck, we were there once too.....but learned ;D

we aren't all that old but would rather spend the night in than run the risk of meeting someone on the road that has had too much

We aren't all that old either (cough, cough), but we'll hang around here at the house or our community clubhouse.

We're planning to roll-out the new Swiss Tropicals website New Years eve, but after that I'm hoping for a quiet even in.

I can't stay awake that late anymore. I too used to be a New Year's Eve party animal.... ::)  This year we'll have my mother-in-law over for a dinner of pan seared fillet mignon with a cabernet sauce.  That's the extent of whooping it up for this year.  Lol.

We're just too introverted for crazy parties anymore so we're just going to go out and treat ourselves to an early dinner somewhere classy downtown (never celebrated my new job so that's a good excuse to splurge a little) but then we'll probably be safe at home before 10 at the latest. Our house is close enough to downtown that we can hear all the madness and the aftermath anyway so we know well enough what we are missing  ;D
I am a dirt worshiping, planted tank lover - I keep/breed freshwater nano-fishes: danios & rasboras but I also have a soft spot for polypterids. Life is complicated like that. I blog about the hobby at http://aqua.ravenwilde.net
