Good morning everyone. Finally rain is is the area. It is currently 62 degrees and will get up to a high temp of 76F this afternoon but more importantly we are expecting up to 2 inches of rain. |^| |^| |^ | It has been a weird spring with very little rain and below average temps but that will end, at least for today.

I have to get a haircut this morning and afterwards I will continue to work in the fish room. I lost my last Koi angel yesterday and that was the end of a line that I got I got Ed who used to be on here. When we had local fish stores this line made me a bunch of money but sadly most of the LFS have closed down in this area because they couldn't compete with Petco and Petsmart with their lousy fish stock. The growth of the online fish market was also a contributing factor.

My Discus are doing pretty good although I do see one that is starting to lag behind in it's growth. I think it was also the smallest of the bunch so it is probably a little younger. A couple of them have exploded in size and I hope to make a new video soon.

Kobe is doing ok for a dog with all of his issues. Now if I can only get him to stop waking me up at 2 to 3 am for food I might be more productive during the day with respect my fishroom work. He does get priority over everything else in this house.

The turtle is still doing great and I have now had her for 27 years. Time sure flies by. Reeves turtles are only supposed live 25 years and considering that this turtle was at least 4 inches (by law in New York) when I got her she has to be over 30 years old.

Greg it was good to see you back. Hopefully your health is back to normal. Liz I am so happy for you with your fish Suger Daddy and Barb I am glad to hear that your arm is feeling better. Ron I am happy for you that your business is picking up and Dennis, thank you for everything that you do here. |^| |^| |^|

Have a great day everyone and I'll check in later.

Well there has been rain all around us but not one drop fell on my town. huh There may be some rain during the overnight but the likelihood of any rain falling during the daylight hours is very slim. huh

YOur rain came her, Willie.  We had a big storm this morning starting around 6 am.  A tree fell across the road which Shawn removed for me with a big tractor.  The power went out at 6:30 and have been out since.  The power outage is wide spread.  Living down here in the woods I bet we'll be one of the last to get it working again.  The generator is running.  I plugged in tank lights and air.  They'll have to do without a heater for a while, but they can handle that.  I've got extension cords running all over the house.  It's quite chaotic here.  Thank goodness I cook with gas and I can make a nice hot meal.

That's it for now, friends.  I'll pop in later so see how everyone else is doing.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Wow Liz. Sorry to learn about your situation. Thankfully you got the generator. I probably should get one too because you never know. Hopefully your power outage doesn't last too long.

I also have a gas stove because I hate cooking with an electric stove.

I feel the same as you about cooking on electric stoves.  I also find gas heat to feel warmer than electric, although nothing beats wood heat when it comes to warmth.  I had to go run out earlier to buy another tank of propane for the generator when mine ran out.  I doubt I'll make it through the night with this one, so I hope I'll get power back by morning.

Right now I'm in bed with a good book since I have nothing else to do.  I'm comfy, with an open window with 3 fans blowing on me.  See y'all in the morning.
