Good Morning Friday

Good morning everyone. It's been one of those weeks where it seems like we will never get out of the 90s but I understand that relief is on the way. It is currently 75 degrees and going up to 91 with showers this afternoon. Tomorrows high is 81 with showers and there are some high temps in the 70s forecasted for next week.

I have PT this morning but after this week I am switching from 3 to 2 times per week on the PT until I get my shot. Afterwards I'll just go play around in the fishroom a good part of the day.

Tomorrow we have a club meeting in the park but I am not comfortable going because of the spike in the Covid variant. These people don't like to wear masks and I don't like to take chances at my age.

Good morning Willie, hotter here than up your way. But I see a new hurricane is in the picture, down by Liz by Sunday they say.  And then maybe up into my area next week. I will take rain, but of course don't want wind.  It is dry here again, rain is dried up so fast in the heat.

Hope your PT and later on the shot will help your back.  You are one of 4 friends I have with bad back troubles.  Hi Liz and Ron later on here today!  You all have a good weekend, I am traveling tomorrow.

Hi Super Group!...

Picked up some frogbit this morning///it was HUGE!...the leaf stems (petioles) were 5"-6" long...!
I've pulled together a group of fellows to go with me to pick up a 75g setup that the brother of an aquarist fiend of my is giving me...he's moving and is giving me the plants, fish, soil and everything...!  We'll be getting it Sunday afternoon...All I have to do now is reserve a U-Haul trailer or van to go get it....

While i was out getting the frogbit, I went on over to one of our sponsor stores who offered up some nice, expensive items for our meeting raffle...retail they come to $300...one is a Wi-Fi wave maker and the other is a robotic glass cleaner for the tank!...   One of our other directors is picking up some stuff from other stores...

Hi friends.  I'm as battened down as I'm going to be.  Generator ready to go.  Food in cans, in the freezer and in the pantry.  Plenty of Animal feed.  Folding chairs brought inside where they'll stay dry.  It was raining earlier but it's nice now, and cooler.  We will get lots of rain and pretty good but not too dangerous winds.  The worst should be Monday if I remember correctly. I'm not looking forward to another muddy yard.
