Good morning good folks. We will have the nicest weather of the year to date here with plenty of sunshine and a forecasted high of 72 degrees. The winds will be gusting between 10-20 mph which is not ideal for my allergies but I'll take it. :)

So far my back is not bothering me too much but it's still early. By the end of yesterday I was in bad shape so today I will take it easy and just relax in the sunshine.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Too Many Fish. Not Enough Tanks.

Good morning Willie.  It's another warm day here, too.  I'm in shorts same as I was yesterday.  I'm hoping that today will be a better day for me.  I guess we'll both find out how well we feel when we get to doing things.  I have a lot of house cleaning to do.  It was so clean, and then the dogs made it a mess again.  Need to run to the dollar store first.  I'm out of dishwashing detergent and I'm in need of salt for making BBS.

Always move forward. Never look back.

...hello folks!...missed yesterday but see that you guys are still hanging in there...that's all I've felt I've been doing...

...we're getting the place cleaned up a bit...daughter Jenifer and her beau, John, will be visiting this weekend....first time meeting him...Jenifer had a long on and off relationship with another fellow for quite a few years...we liked him ok, but was a bit of know-it-all...he and Jen just wanted different things in life and she finally broke it off...5 or 6 months later John appears on the scene and they seem to hit it of well, liking the same things...meanwhile Jen has received several bonuses from the company she works for because of her excellent work in sales...

...her daughter, Emery, is graduating from university this spring in civil engineering...she already has a job waiting for here a week after graduation with the company she interned with the last 2 summers...yea!...this is the granddaughter we've followed and supported in softball all the way thru college...She's set a couple school records and has done well maintaining consistent appearances on the dean's list each semester...

..I'm not bragging, just happy for them both!...and a proud of both of the gals!  ;)  Jen went through a divorce years ago from a husband addicted to hard stuff, and it's been a long and tough road for the 2 of them... They are my step daughter and step granddaughter, so no genes from me!...but we treat each other as if we were blood related...

...We're having a cool dip into the 60s for a few days then on back into the 870s and 80s...loving it here still...

...fish are fine...thinking about getting some gold Neolamprologus ocelatus shellies for one of the 20L's I just acquired....that means I'll be shifting a few tanks around on my shrimp rack...I'll start it next week...

...time to start my day...take care all!...
Happy Aquariuming,
Ron

Hey Ron, I meant to tell you that I found 2 yellow mama shrimp with ping pong balls!  I think that my existing huge yellow shrimp is still a virgin.  Could be her size intimidates the boys.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Hi Friends, hope you are all OK today, allergies, aching bodies, etc. I have my days too.  Tomorrow is my 300 mi round trip drive for my second dose.  I have set Saturday aside to do nothing much, for a change, just in case I don't feel well.  I will let you know.  My mom got her second yesterday, remember she is almost 97, and today she has not a single side effect.  Just a little sore at the injection site is all.

It is warm today, and all day sun.  I did a bit of yardwork and topped off my pond.  Also watered all my violets, that took 3 hrs.  I look forward to some sushi for dinner tonight, going to get it now.
