Good morning everyone. I got a good night's sleep and now I am ready to go....Nowhere.... :D  It's going to get into the 90s today but we may get t-storms to cool us off later in the day.

It looks like the first phase of moving fish around is successful. Today I will scrub and deep clean a 29g that I am getting ready for Jon's pair off angels. After that they are on there own.

I also have to do water changes on my shrimp tanks. After big losses in my previous attempts to raise shrimp I seem to be doing much better in that there are very few losses lately but my shrimp are not breeding.

Since I don't use heaters on the shrimp tanks the water temperature stays around 71 degrees because my fish room has A/C. What temps do you keep your shrimp tanks at?

My tank in the office stays at 78 and all my fish room tanks are at 82 because of the Discus.

I just got done with a grooming dog.  The rain has finally started so I'll be stuck in the house for the next week.
Always move forward. Never look back.

...hello freaky fish friends!...

...Lucy's getting cabin fever...wants to go do something today...so we're going to try a new BBQ restaurant for lunch and a couple hours...
...I ended up spending time yesterday doing a little reading, getting notes out to all the helpers for the Swap this Saturday, building a new Dragonstone re-creation...today, I think I'll do a couple more Dragonstones this afternoon...
Happy Aquariuming,
Ron

Hi everybody!  Still no rain here, we sure need it, at least we gardeners do.  We may get some of Laura later on if it heads east after hitting the gulf coast.

Willie I keep my shrimp tank and bowl at room temp, which is 74 with AC. How many shrimp do you have and maybe they are all the same sex?  I have two berried females right now, I like watching them take care of their eggs.

Barb I have about 10 yellows and maybe a dozen blues. I may up the temp up a couple of degrees to see if anything changes. I am pretty sure the yellows are young and one the blues the ages range from immature to sexually mature. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the info Liz. My Angel tanks are between 78 to 82 degrees with the Altums at 82. The 78 is a number I see a lot. I'll give it a little while more and then gradually up the temp a wee bit.
