No.  He got a phone and fell in love with playing games.  I can understand that.  I was lost when I was his age, too.  What is important is that he find the way best for him.  Heck, I considered  becoming a con artist when I was younger.  I was invited to join some folks who were were good at it. It would have been exciting!

Falling in love with playing games on a phone ain't nothin'.  It's normal.

When I was his age I was outside any time my eyes weren't buried in a book. Pong wasn't around yet.

I do go outside a few times a day. Mostly to check the pool for frogs
