Good morning everyone. Hopefully you all are doing well. The sun is up and shining brightly this morning but we have a 45% chance of thorms moving in this afternoon. Our high temp will be 84F and that may not sound too hot it is too hot for Kobe. :-[ We will be skipping our afternoon park walk and probably many of the afternoon park walks this summer.

Our humidity has been high since these storms started rolling in and the humidity in the fishroom was up to 65% this morning. I turned on the dehumidifier and quickly got it down to a respectable 50% but it is unusual to see my humidity get that high in the fishroom because it is airconditioned.

Today I am going to try to get my fishroom work done early before I get lazy. It is so easy for me to start something down there and not finish what I started because I get distracted or start something else before I'm finished with the current task. So far I've been mostly getting the daily Discus water changes done but I did miss a couple (only a couple of times) of days. I have not yet missed consecutive days and don't plan to.

The discus are growing nicely according to my eye test. I am tempted to take one out to measure it but I don't want to stress them unnecessarily. Let's just say the biggest one is about 5 inches and the rest of them come in around 4.5 inches. They seem to be growing uniformly.

Ron, I have used this product with great results in the past for the cloudiness issue.

Wishing you all a great day and I'll check in with you all later.

Good morning, Willie.  The weather here is the same as it has been. Sunny and like yesterday, hot.  Right now at 8:30 it's already 84.  I'll have to turn on the first AC soon.  The heat index this afternoon will be 107!  Don't feel bad about missing a water change or two once in a long while.  I do it too.  Everybody does except commercial breeders in Asia and Germany, but they have employees.

It looks like i'm in store for another back day.  I'll do the best I can to work through it, like I did yesterday.  I put the clean sheets on the bed yesterday, so today I'll tackle the rest of the bedroom cleaning  I really enjoy walking into a nice tidy bedroom at the end day all tired out and ready for a read before I crash for the night.

That's it for now.  I'll pop back in later to see what Barb and Ron are up to and fill you in if anything exciting happens here.  Be happy, y'all.  After all we're in our Golden Years.  What a joke that is, hun?

Always move forward. Never look back.
