My cat Xena has cut way down on killing birds and taken to killing rodents.  I never praised her for the the birds that she would lay outside the side door for me.  She's getting lots of praise now that she has turned to rodents.  I found a dead mouse last weekend.  It's all decomposed now.  Today she presented me with this fine rat.  It's not huge, but certainly not bad for a cat that on a good day might weigh all of 9 lbs.

I'm thinking that maybe she got embarrassed when I had to set a mouse trap in the house a while back.
