Another Monday rolls around

Good afternoon friends.  I figured it was time I made an appearance.

It's a lovely blue sky day here.  I didn't get the rain that Barb and Willie got.  Willie, have you dried out yet or are you still playing inside?  There is no chance of even a drop in the 10 day forecast for us.

I haven't said anything for the past couple of days because I haven't done anything interesting.  I didn't today either, but at least I got out and about for a bit.  I hit the supermarket where I chatted with a couple of employees I've become friendly with.  Then April came over at my request and set up my new TV for me.  I'll have had it for 3 weeks tomorrow and I never got passed telling it that I spoke English.

I haven't sold the first fish for almost 2 weeks now.  For a while I could hardly keep up with the orders.  Suddenly the faucet turned off.  I got spoiled by having money come it.  First off, I felt productive.  Then there was the money that I haven't been used to having.  I didn't waste it, although I did buy old Big Head a very expensive memory foam bed.  He was afraid of it for 2 days but now he's in love with it so it was worth the splurge.  Mostly I paid bills and bought animal feed with it.  I need to start selling again for, if nothing else, for breeding more Discus.  I'm going to do an outcross when I get the chance. 

That's about it for me.  My live has become very small.  But even when I don't post, I check in with y'll a couple of times a day.

Good evening Liz and everyone. The rain has not stopped yet and it's supposed to be with us for another couple of days.  It's been a steady rainfall and we haven't had any overflows.

BTW I turned on my heater this morning so it's been cold too. The next good day around here will be Thursday and we are in for great weather over the weekend.

I've been mostly resting today although I just finished playing in the fishroom for the last 1.5 hours. I have a 3x6 folding table that was full of miscellaneous fish stuff completely emptied out now. I've been working been working on this for a while. Hopefully I get to fold it back up again.

Hi folks!...

What are you doing with all that stuff you moved off the fishroom table, Willie?...I find that if I'm not good about trashing it or taking it to swaps or auctions, I'm just shuffling it!   ....

I was supposed to meet an Orkin tech at one of our rentals this morning between 10 and 12...a no show!..I was upset and am looking for pest control company now...wasted my morning!...

We've just had a very strong storm...not a monsoon, but a cold front...lots of heavy wind and dust to begin with and then a little rain...up north a tornado touched down...in our community a large saguaro was blow over...those things can weigh several tons!...

We set up another short trip today...we're going to drive to Sedona over the Thanksgiving holiday...that adds to our trip to Vegas in a couple weeks, and a trip to Hawaii November 1-7...that will use up our vacation points for this year in our time share program...so we're going to be busy traveling thru the rest of the year!...we're switching to another program in January...

We fixed nachos for dinner and Lucy had a margarita and I had a beer.... Now I'm stuffed!

Ron, I know I just shuffled it around but at least I was able to shut down the table until I really need it again. I have anther table I'd like to shit down but it has 3 tanks on it.
