Warming Up Hump Day

Good morning everyone. The day is starting off at a cold 29 degrees but we are headed into the mid 50s under sunny skies and for now, light winds. We have a 30% chance of rain this evening as the warmer air moves in tonight.

I've got water changes to do today and I'm a little behind schedule because I had to give Kobe a bath first. He was stinking like a wet dog and he was dry. I was trying to wait until his grooming appointment on Friday but I couldn't hold out.

Good afternoon Willie plus the rest of the Mug Club later.

I'm glad it's finally starting to warm up for you Willie.  It's shorts weather here, but the wind is sure blowing.  We're supposed to have some big bad weather coming in but I don't worry about it because worry does no good.  I really must get my generator working, though.

I went to the pet store in Hattiesburg and dropped off a whole big box of stuff for  Ken and Twee.  I picked up 2 dozen red shrimp Ken ordered for me and a 150 watt heater.  I stupidly left home without my purse (second time I've done that in the past few days).  Ken gave me $40. so I could buy a box of wine and enalapril for Tink.

I have to quit cannabis today damn it.  My appointment with the pain doctor is May 3rd and I'll need to pee clean in a cup.  I'll put all my paraphernalia out of sight.  If I don't see it I won't think about it.

I'm still kind of bent and hurting after gardening yesterday.  If I'm going to have any fun I have to pay for it.  I'll spend the rest of the day taking it easy in the fish room.  I have a new spawn of Pitch Blacks wiggling and a cone of Discus eggs were laid yesterday.

Hi Willie and Liz, I have my eyes on the weather channel, looks like you are getting the high wind/rain about now.  Hope you don't blow away Liz,  even if you would like to do so. 

Here just gray and tomorrow night the storm gets here with some wind and rain.  My dead leaves all over the garden, from freezing, may blow off the bushes. I hope.  They look terrible.

My mom is not doing well, so she is about all I have on my mind right now.  But I am thankful she is getting good care.  I miss being her only caregiver.  Got her apt. turned back over to the manager today.

It was warmer today...in the 70s and breezy...fluffy clouds too....beautiful day...looks like tomorrow will be in the mid 70s...

Hey Barb, I empathize with you regarding your Mom...I hope she does a turn-around and soon...

One of the good things about having a medical marijuana card I'd that I don't have to quit my gummies before I go to the pain doc!...

Well...the PBs are at it again!...I put the cone in the take on the spot where the spawnedthe last 2 times and the spawned late last night or this morning...ON THE HEATER TUBE!  ...I saw them cleaning it last night so I unplugged it and put in a new heater at the opposite end of the tank...
