I've been to the vet to pick up more meds for Tink.  My vet gave me the number of a farrier who might want to put me on his schedule.  My old guy quit me I think because I only have one horse.  Charlotte's feet are in dire need of a pedicure.  I never get my nails done because I don't care, but Charlotte needs regular pedicures to keep her feet so she can walk on them.

My neighbor April who works for the nurse practitioner down the road a piece stopped by yesterday.  I told her that I'd gotten my first jab.  We chatted about how the second jab knocked her for a loop but never bothered her parents Jack and Judy who are my age.  She said that it seems to be that folks in their 30's and 40's seemed to have the worst problem with side affects.  I think I've figured out why.  The side effects are the result of a strong immune response.  Younger folks have stronger immune systems that us old folks (sorry Barb) so we don't suffer so.  I wonder if I'm right.

It's another beautiful day here.  It will go up to 78.  By Saturday they are saying 83!  But I know we'll get hit with more cold soon enough before it gets warm and stays warm.

Barb and Ron, what are you guys up to?  I feel all alone when 2 of us miss a day.  Willie, let me know when it warms up for you.  I've got you covered for your females.
Always move forward. Never look back.

Barb

You may be right about the shots Liz, both my daughter and her husband felt terrible after the second shot, they are 44 and 48.  Hope I feel fine this coming Saturday.  Will let you know.

Liz I guess we were posting at the same time. Couldn't figure out how to move my post over to yours. I'm sure glad you got found a farrier.

We have a lot of horses around here since it used to be mostly farm country and we still have a more than a few Amish farms. A lot of times I have to pass the horse and buggies on pretty busy roads.

...hey y'all!!!!... I'm back!...just got busy and then tired out so missed yesterday altogether....busy today too...started out with a morning visit to the pain doc for the second gel shots in the knees...I hope they work better than 6 months ago...worth trying anyway...the ones last week started taking effect yesterday and today...but don't know to what extent the relief will be....

...eBay guy is coming soon to pick up a small load of plants...

Spent a lot of time on the dragonstone today and yesterday...the most time consuming part is allowing enough time for the adhesives to set prior to attaching any other stones to them...so I'm in and out there all through the day and sometimes evening working on them...

...we were in the mid 70s today, but wind is up again and temps will drop into 60s for a few days now...our daughter is coming from Tacoma this weekend with her boyfriend...we look forward to meeting him in person...we've facetime with the 2 of them once...they will be staying at her best friend from college and we will visit back and forth...

...all's well here so you guys take it easy...
Happy Aquariuming,
Ron
