I acquired one of them a few months back. The thing leaked all over my kitchen.  And I couldn't find anyone that sold the seals for it. I gave it to a friend not to sure what happend to it after that. I'm sure if I could get parts it would of been a good filter.

Sorry, but I can't get into canister filters...for the effort to clean them, I can simply do a gravel vac and water change as fast....

I have always loved the canister filters. Think they do a much better job than the HOB. Never used the sponge filters till I meet you folks. Now I love the Hydro sponge. Still have my FX5s but a lot fewer.
