Title: Up-date for Ron
Post by: LizStreithorst on February 16, 2020, 11:31:06 AM
Day 4 on Kradom.

I got mad at myself for doing nothing until almost 10 so I decided to unload the 50lb sack of feed into the chicken house and pour it in the feeder.  The feeder holds 25 lbs.  I been having to muscle the sack into the feed room then pour it by the bucket in the feeder.  This time getting the sack of feed in was easy for me!  I scooped out the first bucketful and and got to thinking that may be I could lift up the whole sack and pour it in!  Then I drove back to the house and unloaded 4 sacks of horse feed before my back told me that I shouldn't go for the last one.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a wonder drug.  I'm only taking 1/4 the dose prescribed of Tramadol and 1/3rd the dose of my Neuronton.  So far so good.

Of course, but there is no place where I can go to about this stuff for reliable information, and I've had no life at all for the past month.  And it was only getting worse!

I refuse to go back to a pain doctor.  There is one in Laurel.  He's known as a pill pusher.  There are 3 in Hattiesburg.  One, I know from personal experience is a pill pusher, the other two are holier than thou.  I refuse to pee in cups for any of them.  I'm my own person and I will deal with this my own way.  What's it matter, anyway.  I'm 69 years old.  I don't expect, or want to live forever.  So tell me...what's the worst that could happen?  I much prefer to die happy, thank you very much.

My experience with Kratom was positive when I used it in 2012-2014. I was only able to get the powdered form which you made into a thick tea but it was very effective for my pain.

My thoughts are that if it works for you then go for it. Keep in mind that it is addictive just like any other opioid and as you use it more you may need to use more to get the desired effect that you need.

...and therein lies my biggest concern...I take Vicodin...Rx is 2 5mg/325 per day... i get a 1 month supply and use it only when i really hurt, which has been a lot lately...sometimes I'll take 3 thru the day when really physically active...they are lasting 2-3 months that way...

..actually it's opiod receptors in the body that accept the Kratom absorption ..tho Kratom isn't an opiod I believe.. huh..

"Kratom can cause effects similar to both opioids and stimulants. Two compounds in kratom leaves, mitragynine and 7-α-hydroxymitragynine, interact with the opioid receptors."

mine comes in a capsule, Willie.  I take one a day.  I'd never even heard of the stuff until a month or so ago.  I'm glad you were able to get better from whatever it was and quit the stuff.

Willie, Vicoden is very powerful.  You have no need for Kradom.  I'm aware of the potential for addiction.  But I have an independent and stubborn streak.  I prefer to do it my own DIY way before I give up and go to the pain doctor.  I refuse to jump through all the hoops I'd have to jump through if I were I to go to a pain doctor.  It's none of their business that I drink and smoke pot.  The ones down here are either ass holes or pill pushers.  It's that way because of the laws.

I know that I'll have to take more Kradom over time.  Anything that helps take the pain away becomes addictive.  I don't care to live to 90.  I don't want to live to be too old to take care of myself.  Having to lay flat on my back in the bed 12 hrs. a day is not good enough.

I read that but I didn't get it until you explained it just now.  Thanks.  Still, if it has the same effect I'm sure it's addictive.  I don't care.  I sure am curious to find out if it will show up in a pee test.

Thanks, Ron.  I'm aware of all that stuff.  But like I said earlier I'm not as concerned about potential side effects as I am about living the most pain free productive I can while I'm on this side of the grass.
