I have a jar full of free swimmers from a pair of Black Lace Angels. Squirted baby brine shrimp in there and look at them later to see those orange bellies. A good way to tell if they are healthy and going to make it. They are scheduled to move to a 2-1/2 gallon tank today.
,,love da orange bellies.....when I pull 'em, I use a 2 1/2 .....
I am thinking of doing that as I seem to be running out of jars. Just had to throw one away as the bottom cracked and broke. Trouble is right now all the 2-1/2s are in use. I have one with baby bristlenoses, one with baby cories and 5 with baby angels. Although one tank of Angels is about ready to move to a ten gallon. Maybe I will have to think about getting a few more 2-1/2s.

I like the 2 1/2's because you get more room from them from the start, you don't need to move them from jars, and more room to work your maintenance on them....it's just a preference... huh
