I don't know Shatanka. I'm definitely after the Sta Isabel/Rio Negro fry and then there were the others that Jon just posted about but I forgot what they cross they were. These Manacapuru angels are gorgeous though.
What are you going to do, provided Jon has babies for us. Lol.
I would like to get some of these F1 Manacapuru too. I have a wild caught Manacapuru now and would like a few more to go with it. I bought 2, but only one survived...they had hex when I got them >:( . Thought the importer would have noticed this and de-bugged and medicated all of the fish before they were turned loose, but that didn't happen in this case...so I lost one. At least they refunded my money. So anyways, these would be a nice addition.
They are pretty, But the video doesn't do them justice. That sucks about your Manacapuru shatanka. at least you got your money back. But that's doesn't make it fell a hole lot better.
Owning wilds and/or good wild crosses helps one recognize that the true beauty of these guys doesn't show up in photos or videos doesn't it?
