The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 10 am CST Thursday.
* Timing... expecting accumulating snow to develop this evening and
then taper off during mid morning Thursday.
* Precipitation rates... the heaviest snowfall rates will occur
overnight through early Thursday morning.
* Snow accumulations... total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches
are expected.
* Visibilities... below one mile at times.
* Impacts... plan on slippery Road conditions... including during
the morning commute on Thursday.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
