Title: Coq au vin, finally
Post by: LizStreithorst on February 23, 2016, 04:04:41 PM
I finally had the time and energy.  I did it Julia's way this time rather than my old tried and true way.  It smells divine.

It looks real good. I may make it myself. It's been maybe 30 years since I've eaten that.

It's done.  I tasted it  It is perfection itself.  Not that can hold a candle to Julia, but I did a couple of things differently.  My soul yearns for it now but I will control my great yearning.   It's best to let it cool and meld it's flavors even more in the fridge.  I will eat eggs tonight ::)
