It didn't last long but it was violent. I got about 4" of rain in each of my WS containers. The power went out so I opted for a nap in the fish room. that wasn't easy as I had a Chow on top of me, a rat terrier on my head and a Lhasa Apso between my legs trembling like a vibrator. Finally I gave up and took a nice bath. It's back on now. It was only off for 1/2 hrs and I wasn't worried because it tried several times to come back on before it succeeded. It was an overload of some kind not a down line. I did all I could to help it, which wasn't much. With heat indices around 110 everyone had their AC going and they take a lot of power. I turned mine off until it came on and stayed on.
I wish I understood better how these things work. My neighbor managed the power plant down the road for years before he retired. He knows everything. Next time I see him I'll ask.
