Bob has the best substrate out there IMHO. Set up a 75 gal tank about six weeks ago with BOB's substrate and PLANT-tastic, My plants are doing awesome. My 125 gal thats been up for about 6 months is doing outstanding. You could not get me away from Eco-complete I have used it for years But Bob's beats it hands down. Bob thanks for the food my fish love it.
That's very kind of you to say that. I'm very happy with the performance of Plant-Tastic.
I'm so plant ignorant that I don't know a good substrate from a not good one. Mug said I needed My Captain's stuff, so it's what I bought. I DO know that the plants I planted in pots from the mama plant at the shop are doing extremely well.
