Title: Mounted gas heaters
Post by: Mugwump on November 05, 2014, 11:12:25 AM
...Is anyone running the mounted gas heaters in their fish room? I'm seriously looking into one...cost isn't bad, mounting will be a learning curve tho...I've run gas pipe, but never cut exterior walls out..
I could eliminate all the heaters, dropping the 'Elec' bill dramatically.....  8)

I have thought about it but don't really know about the heaters.
I'm guessing it would need an exhaust to the out side for the flame.

Yes, We have a double window that can be taken out at one end of the basement...then a gas heater and a exhaust fan can be added side by side in place of it...... that'll cover the seasonal temps pretty well...natural gas is cheap to use...and a good fan will provide ventilation when desired.
