Title: Going to Aquaculture meeting

I'll be going to an Aquaculture America meeting in about a week and a half (Feb. 9-12) in Seattle, WA.

I find it very interesting, but expensive ($500 + room and board). Taking the train up which is a nice way to go.

Besides the normal aquaculture meeting talks, there is a trade show (manufacturers showing their stuff) and a day and a half of zebrafish workshop talks, about zebrafish in labs issues.
The tradeshow is interesting because of the new stuff companies have. The zebrafish workshop has lots of fish vet-ish stuff. Since I'm looking for a job now, this is a good place to do that. Unfortunately it conflicts with other subjects I like: genetics, larval rearing engineering, and reproductive physiology.

Very nice, have a good time, hope you make a job connection up there....that train ride must be nice....coastal? or inland?.....
