Myself. Tanks and lights only, unless it's a 'mag' or 'Diatom' filter...tanks/$1 gal for good..working lights it depends on size/length...say $4-$5 a foot, or so...T5's, and others, dicker....LOL

I don't buy used filters. I have been bit one too many times on them. Even if they do look good I still wouldn't do it. Same with the heaters.   You can get heaters cheap on ebay. Or watch on drsfostersmith.com Or kensfish.com sometimes they run good sells on heaters. The lights I might get if they are dirt cheap. Most of the time with the light the bulbs need to be replaced and that's alot of the cost of the light. remember light bulbs should be replaced ever 6 months. I have been getting my lights from an ebay store Topdogsellers. I got a dual 60" t5 with 6500k 80w plant bulbs for 75 bucks. There cheap and work good. Good used tanks go for 1.00 per gallon. The bigger tanks go for more. 125 gallons have been going for 200.00 and up on craigslist. It's the stands that cost the most. There usually more the the tanks. But if you have a little know how you can build a cheap stand for under 30.00 bucks. It wouldn't be nothing fancy but it would work.
