It is now pouring rain. It looks like it's 8:45 pm instead of 5:15 pm. Fishroom is locked down tight for the night. We'll just wait this out a bit.

We had a wildfire near the house. My wife asked me if we should start loading up pictures, pets & etc. The wind was blowing in a favorable direction so we just watched. We are the only house in the area so I'm sure we would have had good structure protection from Calfire if the wind had shifted. The fire is out now.

...when we lived out west years ago, we had a beaut' come down from the Angeles Nat'l forest.....peacocks, snakes, animals flying past the house big time....
