Well almost a year and a half after it's release, I get this ad from HP this morning saying they are bring back PC's with Windows 7 installed.  What a feather in the cap for Microsoft.  They have simply went to &%!# since Bill Gates retired and turned over the keys to the kingdom.

Yeah, I don't know why they think that a complete change is always better. I've had a real struggle with my new computer I got in October. Hell, I still can't even figure out how to turn the thing off!

LOL.  They are already working on  Windows 9 for release next year.  I installed Windows 8 on one machine and it stinks, but I might as well learn it (I got it for free).  My other 2 machines run Windows 7.

Still have Windows Vista on this computer.  The laptop has Windows 7.
When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because those weirdos are your tribe.  (Sweatpants & Coffee)

I got a new laptop with Windows 8 on it so I could run a specific program.

I am mostly a Mac guy, but we have a couple windows machines. 8 has quite a learning curve to figure out what is going on.
Fortunately my son is a bit of a windows geek and is glad to sarcastically tell me what I am doing wrong.
