Two Empty 60's

I actually have 2 empty 60's, can you believe it?  I fill one of them this evening, but the other can sit devoid of fish until I need it.  It's been a long time since I've had an empty tank.  It feels good.  I'll enjoy the feeling for as long the tank stays empty.

I've already filled it.  I looked at the Koi that Ed gave me.  They are getting big.  They needed more room.  It feels as good to have tanks that are not overcrowded.  I hope I can keep it that way.

I have an empty 110, 60, 40, and two 10's. I just need to get my 9' rack built to get them on first

You need to bring me that 110.

Haha no way. I've waited a long time to get a tank that size

Heck, I've got 2 acrylic 55G's a glass 55G and a 40 long sitting empty!

But that's all going in the greenhouse in the spring!!!

I had a 55 empty for about 36 hours.  Now that I've let the water age some it is in the process of being stocked with some of Liz's HB fry. 8)

I have more empty tanks but they won't fit in the apartment.  Make that "they'll fit but the floor might collapse" lol. ::)

You are absolutely right Ron.  In February or March I am moving to a townhouse in a 55+ community.  The house is 1700 sq. ft. and has a full unfinished basement. ;D ;D ;D.  I will be able to get plenty of tanks down there. ;D ;D ;D

Move in date is contingent on the weather as the house is under construction.  The good news is everything will be under roof by Friday.  Electrical and plumbing work begin next week. I also put a washroom in the basement to help make water changes a little easier. ;D ;D ;D

Fantastic Willie! I said it in jest of course, but glad to know it's the plan!

Hey Willie, as long as they're adding a bathroom down there...have em plumb in a slop sink too, outside the bathroom wall too.....

I'll have someone do that after the fact. They want too much for that.  I almost told them to screw the bathroom.

And then the builder always adds on a surcharge. In this case probably cost more than the sink. They wanted to charge me 600 bucks for a garage door opener installed.  I refused that "option". 150 for opener, 80 to 100 to install it through home depot.
