I had to do that with my halfblack pair but I caught them almost too late so now I only have 12 free swimmers left

naw....they either raise em, or I yank em......did a foster parenting one time tho...

My dark marbles would foster raise. I would have a spawn from another pair and I'd pull the slate with the eggs and put it in with the dark marbles and they'd always parent raise them!  It was so awesome and super handy haha

Yes it is awesome......especially when all those fry are swimming around, and look nothing like the parents.....LOL.......spooks some fish room visitors, doesn't it....

Yep, I was going to pull this one, but I wasn't ready for them....
