Never really thought of it being 'yuppy'....  I like carrots, broccoli and cauliflower   |^|  Of course, I like peas, carrots, and green beans mixed too.  My favorite is corn and lima beans though.....  yum yum yum

Here's the problem, per Wikipedia...

"Yuppie" is a term that was introduced in the early 1980s and is defined.....

By the early 1980's, I'd been eating California blend for about 20 years.  Never thought of Mom as a trend setter!!!  LOL

Same as yesterday.  Then the roast gets sliced thick and sent to the freezer.

I might have to look into how it came to be California blend.....  it's not like any of those are exclusive to California.

I heard a joke about California years ago and it has always stuck with me.  Can't recall who was telling it, maybe Bob Hope or Red Skelton....

California is just like a box of granola cereal.....  If you take out all the Fruits and the Nuts, all you have left are the Flakes.  Certainly not PC by today's standards.

Just had a bowl of cereal. I'll find something else later.

Did you come to your son's rescue yesterday evening?  Did you get the birds in safe and sound?

Yeah we took two cars and left him a 4wd to use this morning, but found out he didn't really need it because the college was shut down from all the snow. He's living at a firehouse.

On the way there the visibility was bad and some complete idiot couldn't figure out where the road was and damn near hit us both head on. Lauralee watched me dodge this guy and then he came straight for her. ???

Then later we got Einstein put away, the peacocks were fine staying on the roof. They stayed up there all day cuz they don't like snow.  huh

Think about it some.  It was a bitch but the only thing y'all suffered was stress.  It all came out OK.  The peacocks can take care of themselves. Forgive me but I was most worried about Einstein's safety ::)
