How do you guy's sterilize your nets? I was at the LFS and they had nets sitting in a bucket full of something. Just wondering what it was.

I soak mine overnight in a very mild bleach solution....rinse and then add a little dechlor and soak for bit...hang and air dry....if the stuff was blue it was methylene blue, if it was yellowish, it was acriflavin......you can use peroxide too....pour a 0.49$ bottle in a bucket of water and soak...

I have a friend that uses netsoak, not sure where it comes from.
I have another friend that uses brine.
I have autoclaved (same as pressure cooking) nets in labs. This kills everything, but the plastic on many nets will melt. Boiling would kill most things. Maybe not so many nets would melt.
I have recently used an iodine solution, which stays good for fairly long times. However, now that I can get nets fairly cheap at a local store ($2-3 each), I am trying to dedicate a net to each tank which is something I have seem done in fish vet labs. I use stainless steel wire to make hooks for hanging the nets on each tank.

I also use a mild bleach solution
