I had a chuck roast with blackeyed peas & rice. Stuffed here too.

I had tacitos, sometimes called flautas.  They were store bought from the freezer of mt grocery store.  The first time I had them a long while back and made them in the oven according to directions they sucked.  Today I had a brain fart.  I cooked them half way in the oven but deep fried them to finish.  I topped them with good fresh salsa and full fat yogurt because I didn't have sour cream.  They were good!  I can't believe it but now that I know how to prepare them, I will buy them again.

I made Slow Cooker beef stew.  New recipe, was very good.  Plenty for leftovers tomorrow, I always make way more than I can eat for some reason.

We do that with some meals too....but we freeze it for another time...it's nice, at times, to just thaw and cook ....
